The Boy, the Fishes and the Miracle Man

This retelling of Jesus feeding the five thousand focuses on the heart of the boy. Imagine him hearing Jesus teach about humility and living life in a sacrificial way and realizing he is the only person on the hill who remembered their lunch.

The boy knows what great power it would take to divide his loaves and fishes to make enough for all gathered there, but that is exactly what he wants: to be like the Miracle Man and do just that. Then Jesus assures him the good gifts he has been given and that he can leave the rest up to him.
